The School supports students with learning difficulties through the provision of Support Teachers, Special Education Teacher Aides, Parent Tutors and Peer Tutors.
All students are involved in the mainstream and withdrawn only when it is necessary for specific programs. The programs include Spalding, Life skills, Literacy and Numeracy. Support Teachers and Aides work within regular classrooms as far as possible. Staff are encouraged to cater for the individual needs and abilities of students to utilise the particular expertise of the Special Education staff who will assist in the preparation of Individual Education Programs if required.
